How to Sell Final Expense Leads

How to sell final expense leads to licensed agents, agencies and call centers who buy exclusive leads by state and age band. Sign funded agents first, write the replacement rules, and generate only for the states they cover.

The short version

Final expense buyers are mostly licensed agents and small agencies, plus call centers that take transfers. Of the 55 final expense companies in our directory, 46 sell exclusive leads and 31 sell live transfers.

Agents buy by state and age band, often as a fixed package, and they read the return policy closely. Many companies say purchases are final but still replace a published list of defects, so your list is part of the product.

Find agents before traffic, take a funded balance, write your replacement reasons and exclusions, and keep an aged tier or marketplace ready for leads whose exclusive period has ended.

Who buys final expense leads

Final expense company sites describe buyers from single agents to agencies, marketing organizations and call centers.

BuyerWhat they buyWhat to know
Independent agentsExclusive real-time leads in their licensed states, filtered by age band and county.Several companies confirm licensing first and a few require a minimum number of states. In Juiced the agent funds a wallet before leads arrive.
Agencies and marketing organizationsVolume for several agents, wholesale or white label leads and appointments.A few sell agency or wholesale programs priced by projected volume. Route by each agent's states with filters and caps.
Call centers and transfer buyersLive transfers and inbound calls, which nine companies bill only after a buffer or set call length.31 companies sell transfers. Juiced distributes web leads, so calls and transfers need separate call tracking.
Aged lead buyersLeads past their exclusive period, bought cheaply in bulk for dialers.18 companies sell aged leads. This is your overflow outlet once a lead's exclusive period ends.

The final expense lead buyer directory lists every company we found that publicly buys or sells final expense leads, with what each one says it does. It is a research starting point, with no contact details.

Start with exclusive real-time web leads by state and age band, since 46 of 55 companies sell them and agents expect exclusivity. Add an aged tier for leads past their exclusive period before adding transfers, which need call tracking outside Juiced.

What to capture and screen for

  • Date of birth, for the age band filter and the age-based return rule.
  • State, county and ZIP, matched to the agent's licensed states.
  • Coverage amount wanted and who the policy is for.
  • Health and tobacco answers.
  • Beneficiary, where you sell a premium tier.
  • Phone verified with a text code, which eight companies describe.
  • Language, so Spanish leads go only to agents who want them.
  • A consent certificate link and a source sub ID on every lead.

Building it, in order

  1. Sign agents before you build traffic

Get each agent's licensed states, preferred age band and weekly capacity. Several final expense companies confirm licensing before selling, and a few require a minimum number of states or counties so orders can fill.

  2. Take a funded balance, not an invoice

17 companies run prepaid or funded accounts and only one invoices. Do not send free sample leads or promise a delivery date for a package. In Juiced the agent funds a wallet before leads arrive and is charged as each lead is delivered.

  3. Write the replacement list and exclusions

Name the defects that earn a replacement, such as disconnected numbers, duplicates, out-of-state or out-of-band leads, and the outcomes that do not, such as no answer or no sale. Agents compare these lists between sellers.

  4. Define exclusive and resale

Several companies keep a lead exclusive only for a set period, and five forbid agents from reselling leads. Say both on the lead type and in your agreement, and make the agreement match your homepage.

  5. Set expectations on the first call

Agents will blame the leads when they are slow to dial or work too few. Agree on contact speed, how many leads make a fair test and how returns are filed before the first lead goes out.

  6. Build the lead type around the age band

Capture date of birth, coverage amount, tobacco, health, beneficiary and language. Mark state, county, age and coverage as required for ping so agents can price the lead before contact details are sent.

  7. Let several agents bid

Many final expense sellers sell fixed packages at a set price, and only four run auctions. Letting several funded agents bid above your minimum, with the highest bid winning in seconds, earns more than one agent at a flat price.

  8. Have an aged tier ready

Leads no agent takes go to your own marketplace in Juiced, where the price falls until someone buys with Buy Now or a standing Buy Order.

  9. Track every source

Keep a source sub ID on every lead so you can see which sources produce the returns, and keep the consent certificate with the lead.

What makes final expense different

  • Exclusive is the default: 46 of the 55 final expense companies sell exclusive leads and only 14 sell shared.
  • Return policies are detailed, naming age bands, language and consumers who deny filling out the form, and many companies say purchases are final while still replacing those defects.
  • Many sellers sell fixed packages by state through self-serve checkout, and three offer buy-now-pay-later financing.
  • Exclusivity often has an end date, after which the lead is sold as aged.
  • Sellers police agents too: five forbid resale and five treat chargebacks as a breach or prohibit them.

Common mistakes

  • Selling a lead without a date of birth, then arguing about whether it fits the age band.
  • Promising exclusivity on the homepage and writing non-exclusive in the terms.
  • Taking orders for states where no traffic or funded agent coverage exists.
  • Launching without a written replacement list and exclusions.
  • Sending free sample leads instead of taking a funded balance.
  • Letting leads expire unsold instead of moving them to an aged tier or marketplace.

Frequently asked

Who buys final expense leads?

Mostly licensed agents and agencies, plus call centers that buy transfers. 47 of the 55 final expense companies in our directory generate their own traffic, and 23 run call centers or transfer operations.

What do final expense agents filter on?

31 companies offer state targeting, 30 age and 20 county, ZIP or radius. Coverage amount, health, tobacco and beneficiary separate premium leads from basic ones.

What consent records do final expense buyers expect?

16 final expense companies mention TrustedForm or Jornaya certificates, and a few log a timestamp with each consent. The rules are published by the FCC and FTC.

How fast should final expense leads be delivered?

Most companies describe real-time or instant delivery, but 14 also describe a fulfillment period for packages. In Juiced, each lead goes to the highest bid in seconds.

Can I sell final expense leads to more than one agent?

Only if you sell them as shared or aged. Exclusive leads go to one agent. In Juiced, several agents can bid on a lead and the highest bid wins it.

What do final expense leads sell for?

No prices are published here. Sellers rarely publish them, and what a final expense lead sells for depends on whether it is exclusive or shared, a web lead or a call, the geography, how fresh it is and how many buyers want it. The pay-per-lead pricing guide shows how to work out your own floor from cost and let buyers bid above it.

Does Juiced handle final expense calls or live transfers?

No. Juiced distributes web leads and delivers them by webhook, email or text. It does not track or route phone calls, so if calls are part of your product you need call tracking software for that side.
