Send Perspective funnel leads to Juiced

This guide connects a Perspective funnel to a Juiced source. The route is Via Zapier or Make: the New Lead via Funnel trigger starts the automation, and a JSON POST step sends each lead to Juiced with flat keys.

The short version

Route: Via Zapier or Make. Perspective's webhook nests answers under a profile object, each with a value and a title, and its docs mention no custom headers, so Juiced cannot read it directly.

You need a Perspective funnel, a Zapier account on a paid plan (Perspective says webhooks need paid Zapier) or a Make account, and a Juiced source with a bearer token.

Submit a test lead before you set up the trigger, then map each answer to the exact Juiced field title. Perspective's docs list no IP address in lead data, so do not make an IP field required in Juiced.

Why Perspective needs Zapier or Make

Perspective's webhook integration (Grow plan and up, or the Premium Integration Suite) posts a JSON object with four properties: id, funnelName, meta and profile. Each answer sits inside profile as an object with a value and a title. The article does not mention custom headers. Juiced needs top-level keys and an Authorization header, so the lead is remapped in Zapier or Make.

Before you start

  • In Perspective: a published funnel with a contact form. Perspective's Zapier and Make articles name no Perspective plan requirement; check your plan's integrations in your account.
  • Zapier or Make: Perspective notes the paid version of Zapier is needed for webhooks and multi-step Zaps. It says the free version of Make is enough to start.
  • In Juiced: a source, a bearer token and the field names from View API Spec.

Step by step

  1. Create a Juiced source and copy a bearer token

In Juiced, go to Ingest > Sources > New source, turn on Test mode and click Create source. On the Authentication tab click New bearer token > Create token and copy it. Open Overview > More actions (⋯) > View API Spec for the field names. Details: setting up a source.

  2. Submit a test lead in your funnel

Open the live funnel and submit a lead with every field filled and zip 00001. Zapier and Make need a real lead to show the fields you can map.

  3. Set the New Lead via Funnel trigger

Zapier: choose the Perspective app, set the trigger event to New Lead via Funnel, sign in with your Perspective login, choose the funnel and click Test & Continue (Perspective's Zapier guide). Make: add the Perspective app and select Watch for New Leads, click Create a webhook and Create a connection, paste the key from the Make tile in your funnel's integrations (Copy API Key), and pick the funnel under Select a campaign (Perspective's Make guide).

  4. Add the JSON POST to Juiced

Add a Webhooks by Zapier POST step, or an HTTP request module in Make, with URL https://usejuiced.com/api/v1/leads, JSON payload, and headers Authorization: Bearer <token> and Accept: application/json. Shared setup: Zapier to Juiced and Make to Juiced.

  5. Map each answer to a Juiced key

Type each Juiced field title as a key and pick the matching Perspective value. Pick the value, not the title, of each profile entry. Use the table below.

  6. Test, publish and check Incoming logs

Run the step, then in Juiced open Entries > Incoming logs, filter Test only, open the log and click Post to check the payload and response. Publish the Zap (it will not run until published) or switch the Make scenario's Schedule on. Turn off test mode on the source before going live.

Field mapping

Perspective identifies each contact field by an identifier such as firstName, lastName or email; a dot means one level down, as in address.city.

Perspective valueJuiced key
firstName, lastNamefirst_name, last_name
emailemail
phonephone
Zip or postal code fieldzip (always required)
address.city and other address partscity, state, address_1
A quiz or question answerThe Juiced field title, such as service_type; must match a List of Values field exactly
UTM parameters on the funnel URLFields you added in Juiced, such as utm_source

Perspective captures Campaign, Source, Medium, Content and Term UTM values plus click IDs such as GCLID (UTM parameters explained). Whether they appear in your trigger data depends on the test lead, so include them in the test URL. Add each field to your Juiced lead category or source before mapping it.

TrustedForm and Jornaya

Perspective's help center does not describe a TrustedForm or Jornaya integration, and its webhook payload lists no certificate or IP fields. Perspective lets you paste scripts into a page's Tracking code (Head or Body), but its docs do not say a script can write a value into the lead (tracking scripts). If your buyers need certificates, confirm with Perspective that the value reaches the lead data before relying on it, then map it to a field such as trusted_form_cert_url. See passing TrustedForm and Jornaya.

Troubleshooting

  • The trigger finds no data. Submit a lead in the live funnel first, then test the trigger again.
  • Values arrive as labels, not answers. You mapped the profile entry's title. Map its value.
  • The Zap never runs. It is still a draft. Click Publish.
  • 422 for a missing IP or other field. Perspective's docs list no IP address in lead data. The response shows error.code validation_failed with the field in errors. Make that Juiced field optional or drop it from this source.
  • 401 Unauthorized. A space or line break came with the token, "Bearer " is missing, or the token was replaced more than 24 hours ago.

To see failed events on Perspective's side, open the funnel's Apps tab, click the three dots on the integration card and choose App events. More fixes in webhook troubleshooting.

Frequently asked

Does Perspective have a webhook?

Yes, from the Grow plan or with the Premium Integration Suite. It posts a JSON object with the answers nested under a profile object, and its docs mention no custom headers, so to send leads to Juiced you go through Zapier or Make.

Can Perspective send leads to a lead distribution platform?

Yes, through Zapier or Make. The New Lead via Funnel trigger starts the automation and a JSON POST step sends each lead to a platform such as Juiced.

Which Zapier trigger do I use for Perspective?

New Lead via Funnel. Perspective also offers Visitor Completed a Funnel, which fires later. Use New Lead via Funnel so leads reach buyers quickly.

Does Perspective send the lead’s IP address?

Perspective’s webhook documentation lists no IP address among its properties. Do not make an IP field required on the Juiced source for these leads.

Does Perspective support TrustedForm?

Perspective’s help center does not describe a TrustedForm integration. Confirm with Perspective how a certificate would reach the lead data before relying on it.
