In short

Bath remodel is a busy, layered market. Of the 38 bath companies in our directory, 34 generate their own traffic, 10 are performance agencies, 11 also run a network, exchange or marketplace, and 18 buy from affiliates, publishers or media buyers. Most offer exclusive, real-time leads, and many also sell by phone: 15 sell inbound calls, and live transfers and booked appointments appear at nine each.

Bath forms ask what kind of job it is, such as tub-to-shower, walk-in shower, walk-in tub or a full renovation, and whether the person owns the home and can make changes. A gap worth knowing: six sellers promise exclusive leads on the contractor side while their consumer forms, terms or page copy allow the request to go to more than one company. Because so much bath volume is calls and appointments, the agreement also has to say exactly what counts as billable.

Juiced lets each remodeler fund a wallet, set filters and caps by ZIP code and project type, and bid above your minimum so the highest bid wins the lead in seconds. Leads no remodeler takes go to your own marketplace, where the price falls until someone buys with Buy Now or a standing Buy Order. Delivery is by webhook into the remodeler's CRM, email or text.

Exclusive leads lead the table at 30 of 38 sellers, with real-time delivery at 25. Inbound calls at 15, and live transfers and appointments at nine each, give bath a real phone channel, though it leans on calls less than plumbing, pest control or HVAC do in our directory; Juiced distributes web leads, so calls, transfers and appointment setting need separate tools. Shared leads at five sellers and aged leads at four give unsold bath leads somewhere to go.

What bath remodel leads are screened for

Seven bath sellers publish screens written for bath work, and most of the rest describe the checks they run on every home improvement lead.

  • Bath job type. Two sellers sort bath requests into walk-in tub, tub-to-shower, walk-in shower or full renovation, and one asks whether the homeowner is willing to remove walls. A remodeler who only does shower conversions needs to see this before the bid.
  • Owner who can decide. Several sellers say they confirm homeownership or decision-making authority, and one bath form asks whether the person owns the property and is entitled to make changes. Renters, tenants and mobile homes are return reasons at a few sellers.
  • Ready to remodel. Several sellers screen for intent with qualifying questions or a longer questionnaire, asking about budget, timeline and how close the homeowner is to a decision. One says its questionnaire drops low-intent and small repair requests.
  • A phone that works. Several sellers check the number before delivery, by text code, by an automatic ping or with phone and email validation that reveals line type. Bad contact details are tied with out-of-area as the most common return reason in this directory.
  • Human or call review. Eight sellers have a person or a call system check the request, from an audit team that reviews every call and a minimum call length before a call qualifies, to a team that calls the homeowner back after intake.
  • Service area and job match. Out-of-area leads are a return reason at seven sellers, and a job outside the remodeler's services at two, so match ZIP code and job type before the lead is sold.

What a bath remodel lead has to carry

Geography is near universal: 31 of the 38 let remodelers pick states, metros, ZIP codes, a radius, neighborhoods or a DMA. Most also target by service, lead type or job type, and a few add project size, capacity, budget, residential or commercial, demographics or time of day.

Every lead type in Juiced starts with ten default fields. Add your own on top, and decide for each one whether it is required and whether the buyer receives it.

What you need to decide on a lead is not what you need to sell it

Every field carries four switches rather than one required flag.

Required for postMandatory when the lead is created: the full record you are selling.
Required for pingMandatory when checking which buyers want it. Usually a much shorter list.
DeliverableWhether the field is included in the data sent on to the buyer.
Hidden from API specKept off the public specification page.

Ping with zip, project_type, homeowner, timeline and property_type. A remodeler can tell from those whether the job is in their area and the kind of work they want, without seeing contact details before the bid.

A market of networks, publishers and call centers

Bath is one of the most intermediated home trades in our directory. Thirty-four of the 38 companies generate their own traffic, but 18 also buy from affiliates, publishers, media buyers, newsletter owners or agencies, 11 run networks, exchanges or marketplaces, and seven run call centers or live transfer operations. Five sell bath beside walk-in tubs and stair lifts, 16 beside kitchen remodeling, and one books appointments for showers, stair lifts and walk-in tubs alike.

The publisher side has real rules. Three ban incentivized traffic outright. One accepts only leads that pass its contact, homeowner, location and consent checks and bars partner landing pages and forms. One reviews every website and channel and rejects free hosts. Three accept leads by ping post, one publishing a posting URL and field spec.

Payouts vary just as much: paid monthly in arrears above a threshold, paid per accepted lead with a dashboard of accepted, rejected and paid leads, a revenue share of the buyer's price that rises with volume, or a commission per conversion. One network states its payout schedule two different ways on two pages. If you buy from publishers, keep a source sub ID on every lead and publish what you accept before the first post.

Calls, appointments and what counts as billable

Nine of the 38 price per call and four per appointment, alongside 29 that price per lead. Because calls and appointments can fail in ways a form cannot, five sellers define the billable event up front: a minimum call duration or buffer, a call reviewed by an audit team, or a lead that requested the service, sits in the area and has a valid phone. One bills only when a lead is issued, demoed or sold, and one charges an appointment fee only when an appointment is booked.

Appointments are a product at nine sellers, and several book or confirm them for the remodeler, from a managed call center that books inside the buyer's CRM and AI booking to soft-set appointments matched to the contractor's availability. Juiced distributes web leads, so calls, transfers and appointment setting need separate tools, but the lesson carries over: write down what a buyer pays for before the first lead.

What remodelers are asked to commit and how they start

Most bath sites do not say how buyers pay: 31 of 38 are silent. Where they do, three take a prepaid or funded account, two keep a card on file and two invoice. One offers weekly payment plans that need a fixed credit commitment and a signed agreement, one lists third-party financing on lead credit, and one says unused funds are refundable on request.

Seventeen say there is no long-term contract and two require one. Five ask for a commitment such as a minimum term, a minimum monthly or weekly volume, a fixed credit commitment or an upfront purchase of call credits, while seven advertise no minimum and six say there are no setup, sign-up or flat marketing fees. One offers the first lead free, the opposite of having the buyer fund a balance first.

Twenty start with a call, demo, strategy session or account manager follow-up, seven let a remodeler sign itself up, and seven run an application or approval step or a written insertion order. Five check territory or volume availability first, and a few cap how many remodelers they take per market.

Nineteen of the 38 mention returns, and several of those give no usable terms: placeholder text, a policy shared only at onboarding, a testimonial, or terms that say payments are non-refundable unless agreed in writing. Where reasons are listed, out-of-area and bad contact details lead at seven sellers each, then duplicates at four, and renters, tenants or mobile homes and work outside the remodeler's services at a few each.

Sellers disagree on contact. Two say inability to reach the homeowner, no interest or no answer does not qualify, while one appointment seller credits no contact after many attempts and homeowners who hired someone else first. One network's help center allows form returns while its terms say there are no returns. Read the agreement, not the homepage.

Seven sellers mention a consent certificate service or load one on their forms. Five consumer forms authorize contact by partners or several companies, one names up to four, and three say consent applies even if the number is on a do-not-call list. None of the bath sellers says it scrubs leads against do-not-call lists. The rules are published by the FCC and FTC.

That consent language is where the exclusivity gap shows. Six sellers promise exclusive leads to contractors while their consumer copy, page descriptions or terms allow the same request to reach more than one company or say leads are non-exclusive unless agreed in writing. If you sell exclusive bath leads, make the consumer form and the buyer agreement say the same thing.

How Juiced runs a bath remodel lead business

  1. Buyers fund a wallet

Each buyer adds funds before leads arrive and is charged as each lead is delivered. Approved returns are credited back to the wallet. No invoices to send and no payments to chase.

  2. Buyers set filters and caps, then bid

Each buyer filters on your fields and caps how many leads they take. They bid above your minimum, and the highest bid wins the lead in seconds.

  3. Delivery goes where the buyer works

By webhook into the buyer’s CRM, by email or by text.

  4. Unsold leads go to your marketplace

A lead no buyer takes is not dropped. It goes to your own marketplace, where its price falls until someone buys it outright or a standing buy order picks it up.

Frequently asked

Are bath remodel leads usually exclusive?

Yes. 30 of the 38 bath companies in our directory offer exclusive leads, five sell shared leads and one semi-exclusive. In Juiced, several remodelers can bid on each lead while only the winner receives it.

Do bath sellers also sell calls?

Many do. 15 of the 38 sellers offer inbound calls, with live transfers and booked appointments at nine each. Juiced distributes web leads, so calls and transfers need separate call tracking.

What return reasons do bath sellers publish?

Out-of-area leads and bad contact details are the most common, followed by duplicates, then renters or mobile homes and jobs outside the remodeler's services. Sellers split on whether an unreachable homeowner qualifies. In Juiced, approved returns are credited back to the remodeler's wallet.

Should walk-in tub and bath remodel leads share a lead type?

Five sellers sell bath beside walk-in tubs and stair lifts, and bath forms separate walk-in tub, tub-to-shower, walk-in shower and full renovation. Put project_type in the ping so a remodeler can filter out the jobs it does not do, or keep walk-in tubs on their own lead type.

Can I buy bath leads from publishers and resell them?

Many sellers here do: 18 of the 38 buy from affiliates, publishers or media buyers. Publish what you accept before the first post, such as no incentivized traffic and a homeowner who asked to be contacted, and keep a source sub ID on every lead.

Do bath remodelers sign long contracts?

Mostly not. 17 of the 38 sellers say there is no long-term contract, and only two require one, though five ask for a minimum term, volume or credit commitment. Having each remodeler fund a balance up front protects you without a contract.

What do bath remodel leads sell for?

No prices are published here. Sellers rarely publish them, and what a bath remodel lead sells for depends on whether it is exclusive or shared, a web lead or a call, the geography, how fresh it is and how many buyers want it. The pay-per-lead pricing guide shows how to work out your own floor from cost and let buyers bid above it.

Does Juiced handle bath remodel calls or live transfers?

No. Juiced distributes web leads and delivers them by webhook, email or text. It does not track or route phone calls, so if calls are part of your product you need call tracking software for that side.
